Through the National Cultural Policy, Revive, the Albanese Labor government is committed to introducing Australian screen content requirements on streaming platforms to ensure continued access to local stories and content.

The government is undertaking a genuine consultation process to help inform this obligation. The documents requested in Senator Lambie's motion contain commercially sensitive material and were provided to the government on an agreement of confidentiality to help inform this consultation process. Consultation with all stakeholders remains ongoing, and no decisions have been made.

Question negatived.
