At the request of Senator Hume, I move:

That the Senate—

(a) notes that:

(i) order for the production of documents no. 751, agreed to by the Senate on 5 February 2025, required the Minister representing the Treasurer to table documents relating to the Coalition's simpler meal tax deduction for small businesses policy or similar policies, and

(ii) the Treasurer, in his response to the order, did not make any claim of public interest immunity, but simply said he will respond 'as soon as practicable'; and

(b) requires the Minister representing the Treasurer to comply with the order by no later than midday on 13 February 2025.
