I was reluctant to interrupt the member for Paterson, but I draw his attention to standing order 64 and the fact that he ought to refer to the Prime Minister by her title and not by her name.

As someone who originates from Marrickville who, thanks to John Howard and the Liberal party had aircraft flights quadripled over my house after being diverted away from his safe electorate (well at the time) I find comments on aircraft noise from this party most hypocritical. Anyone who builds a home or buys land near an airport and then complains about noise has not a leg to stand on. We should instead being fighting to have sydneys second airport as Williamstown and immediately build the fast rail between sydney and newcastle.
