Agriculture: Foreign Investment

My question is to the Minister for Agriculture. Will the minister update the House on how the government is better monitoring foreign investment in Australian agriculture?

What is missing from this debate is that it is not the Government that is selling off land to foreign investors but the farmers themselves. So, the Nationals will stop Australian farmers from selling their property to the highest bidder?
Also missing is that this policy is clearly a sop to the Nationals after the Qld debacle.
