I inform the House that we have present in the gallery today Mr Alan Thompson, the new Secretary of the Department of Parliamentary Services. Whilst this is not his first visit here, it is probably a little more exciting than his first visit. On behalf of the House, I wish him well in the challenges that confront him in providing services for members, senators, and other occupants and visitors to this building.
