On indulgence, further to the debate we had in question time today on the health and hospital system, my office has contacted the National Press Club. I am advised that the next available date for a debate between the Leader of the Opposition and me is next Tuesday. I would therefore look forward to the opportunity to debate him on that occasion. It would give him an opportunity to explain his future plans for the health and hospital system and for the government to explain our plans for the future of the health and hospital system as well.

Mr Speaker, on indulgence: I very much welcome the opportunity to debate the Prime Minister next Tuesday on the subject of health, but I think it is only fair to ask him, given his answer earlier in the House, that this is not in substitution for the three election campaign debates, surely.
