In question time today the member for Ballarat said that I had opposed the amendments to the Australian Education Bill. That is false.

In question time today, and on other occasions this week, the Prime Minister has claimed that I have sought no intelligence briefings. I have had multiple briefings from the Department of Defence. I have had multiple briefings from ASIO, including from the Director-General. I have been briefed by the Australian Federal Police, by Border Protection Command and, on a number of occasions, by Customs. I have had numerous briefings on intelligence and defence—

This is the misrepresentation! It is a massive misrepresentation of the facts. And most recently I had an ASIS briefing.

During question time the Assistant Treasurer claimed that I have been arguing for the GST to be increased. I have never said any such thing.
