Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?

I certainly have, by the Prime Minister in question time. He alleged that I was talking down our airlines. Qantas and its staff do a great job. Virgin and its staff do a great job. I have been through it and I have seen the costs.

I am just appalled at this government sending our jobs overseas.

The Leader of the Opposition will resume his seat. He knows perfectly well that, when you are dealing with an area where you claim to have been misrepresented, it is not a debate; it is simply a statement of where it occurred and what the correction is.

I do, Madam Speaker. Today in question time the Prime Minister stated that I had supported the removal of the foreign ownership restrictions that require Qantas to be majority Australian owned. That is not true. The aviation white paper was put out publicly in December 2009 and it is available for all to see.
