I declare that at 1.30 pm today the above bills stand referred to the Federation Chamber for further consideration, and that at 8 pm this evening they be returned to the House.

If it suits the House, given I do think it is a critical debate, I move:
That so much of standing and sessional orders be suspended as would permit the member for Melbourne Ports to complete his speech on the motion moved by the member for Brisbane for a period not exceeding four minutes.
