I have a statement arising from yesterday's proceedings. Yesterday, the Manager of Opposition Business raised with me an allegation that the member for Braddon took a photograph in the chamber. I have had the official broadcast footage reviewed, which does not capture the member for Braddon at the particular time, and therefore there is no evidence of a photograph being taken. The member for Braddon did rise to assure the House he did not take a photograph and I accept the assurance given to the House by the member for Braddon. But I remind all members that photography in the House when it is in session is not permitted.
