Mr Speaker, I remind you that during 2014 I asked a question of the Minister for Agriculture about drought relief. He provided an answer but subsequently changed the Hansard of that answer.

Please hear me out, Mr Speaker.

While the minister corrected the Hansardand he needed to correct the answer for very good reason—he has never come back to the House as the minister and corrected the misleading of the House. I ask you whether it is now appropriate that he do so.

The member for Hunter knows two things: if he wishes to raise those sorts of matters, he has a number of opportunities to raise them during the sitting of the House; or he can write to me or to any other authority. My recollection from when I was a humble backbencher is that this was raised with the Speaker at the time. That is my recollection. I know it is something that is dear to the heart of the member for Hunter, because I have it bellowing into my left ear through interjections during most question times. If I have anything to say about the matter, I will let the member for Hunter know and then I will let the House know.
