The Speaker has received advice from the opposition whip that she has nominated Mr Fitzgibbon to be a member of the Select Committee on Regional Australia in place of Ms Swanson.

That Ms Swanson be discharged from the Select Committee on Regional Australia and that, in her place, Mr Fitzgibbon be appointed a member of the committee.
