During question time today, the Prime Minister gave an insinuation that was fully deceitful because it's only half the truth. The Prime Minister did not put forward a full quote, which has led to the House being misled as to what I actually said. In reference to the constitutional change proposed by the Prime Minister, I said:
It's not the same. It's vastly less, vastly less noxious, but the Civil Service Act of Germany in 1933 also delineated people's rights on the premise of their race …
I went on to say that it's a bad premise. This is not what the Prime Minister said. He tells half-truths to avoid the facts, and he is making a bad habit of it.
