Point of order, Deputy Speaker Wilkie. Could you report to the Chamber on the status of the previous bill?

What happened with the previous bill was that the member for Brisbane dissented on the second reading. So, because that matter is now unresolved, that bill has been referred back to the main chamber, and we're moving on to the next item of business.

And the call made against the bill was from the member for Brisbane and no other member? I just want to make that clear.

But you only need one voice in the Federation Chamber.

I can appreciate why some people might have been a bit thrown by that, because it was all a little bit uncertain to some observers, but all is in order.
