Yesterday in question time the Minister for Health and Aged Care made an incorrect claim about the comments I made on radio regarding health. They were not only completely false; they were so bizarre that I am actually worried the minister might be hallucinating. What the minister might want to know is I said Australians:

… can't afford to pay for our heating or air conditioning. We can't afford to pay for our health. Australians are struggling to pay the mortgage, struggling to pay the rent. Younger Australians can't get into a home. It all starts piling up …

The truth is Australians are poorer under Labor.
