In accordance with the provisions of the Parliament Act 1974, I present a proposal for works within the Parliamentary Zone relating to the construction of the new cooling plant enclosure. I seek leave to give a notice of motion in relation to that proposal.

I give notice that, on Thursday, 27 November 2008, I shall move:

That, in accordance with section 5 of the Parliament Act 1974, the Senate approves the proposal by the National Capital Authority for capital works within the Parliamentary Zone, being for the construction of a new cooling plant enclosure.
