by leave—Noting the government’s statement, I wish to advise the Senate that the Select Committee on Fuel and Energy will be considering the government’s further statement in relation to the persistence of the government in keeping secret information that we think is important for the appropriate scrutiny of the Treasury modelling. In that context, I seek leave to move a motion to enable the Select Committee on Fuel and Energy to meet during the sitting of the Senate today.
