I have some further information in relation to the question asked by Senator Hanson-Young in question time today. I can advise that earlier this month the initial $250,000 contract was signed with the South Australian Department of Environment and Heritage to prepare a detailed project plan to be delivered by 30 June. I am also advised that the text of the second funding deed for the program as a whole is agreed with the South Australian Department of Environment and Heritage, and when this has been signed it is intended to allow for payments to cover the balance of the program, including payments for some works already undertaken by South Australia this year, particularly aerial and machine seeding. I can also indicate that if the senator wishes to have any further briefing on details, I would be happy to provide it.
