I move:

That the government business orders of the day listed on page 4 of today’s Order of Business, under the heading “At 12.45 pm” be considered from 12.45 pm till not later than 2 pm today subject to the Senate agreeing to government business notice of motion no. 1.

That, on Thursday, 17 September 2009:

(a)

the routine of business from not later than 4.30 pm to 6 pm shall be government business only;

(b)

consideration of general business under standing order 57(d)(x) shall not be proceeded with;

(c)

at 6 pm, orders of the day relating to government documents shall be called on under standing order 57(d)(xi); and

(d)

divisions may take place between 4.30 pm and 6 pm.
