Thank you, Chair, and I thank the Senate. In an article by Mr Mark Latham on page 86 of today's Australian Financial Review my name is mentioned. For the record, I have not spoken to Mr Latham for a number of years, and for the record there is no truth in what has been written about me. I make this statement only because this matter has been raised with me. I do not intend to depart from my long-standing practice of not responding, normally, to such irritations.
