I wish to advise the Senate that a number of Department of the Senate assets which had been on long-term loan to the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House have now been permanently transferred to the museum. These items include regalia formerly worn by the Usher of the Black Rod, the Black Rod's sword and some pieces of furniture. This will ensure that these items are properly curated and preserved for the future.
