I advise the Senate that Senator Ronaldson will be absent from question time today as he is in Papua New Guinea to attend commemorations regarding the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific. In his absence, I will answer questions in the Special Minister of State portfolio, Senator Brandis will take questions on veterans' affairs and Senator Birmingham will represent the industry and science portfolio.
