In what I am sure some will think represents a triumph of hope over experience, I move:
That—
(a) government business order of the day no. 8 (Migration Legislation Amendment (Cessation of Visa Labels) Bill 2015) be considered from 12.45 pm today; and
(b) government business be called on after consideration of the bill listed in paragraph (a) and considered till not later than 2 pm today.

Just in relation to the motion that has just been passed: it only has effect if the Senate has in fact dealt with the electoral reform bill, which has precedence.
