Ordered that the reports be printed.

I seek leave to make a one-minute statement on one of those reports. I will not be debating the actual report.

I note that the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee report on the Native Title Amendment (Indigenous Land Use Agreements) Bill 2017 has just been tabled. I want to put on record the Greens' significant concern about the rushed nature of this inquiry. I raised it at the time of the selection of bills committee report, which we debated the last day we were here back at the beginning of March, and I have in fact been proved to be correct. The amount of time has been insufficient for us to be able to adequately look at the ramifications of this bill. I will not, as I promised, go into the issues of the bill—which we will do during the debate, when the government rushes that bill in here—but there are significant potential ramifications of this bill that we simply have not had time to address. It is really inappropriate. (Time expired)
