I move:

That the Senate requires the attendance of the Chairman of NBNCo, Dr Ziggy Switkowski, at the Communications and the Arts Portfolio 2018-19 supplementary Budget estimates hearing of the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee on Tuesday, 23 October 2018, for as long as the NBNCo is called by the committee.

We are not opposing this motion, because it has always been the intention of Dr Switkowski to attend the supplementary budget estimates hearings on 23 October 2018. Dr Switkowski's attendance was confirmed with the committee secretariat on Friday, 12 October.
