I move:

That—

(a) on Monday, 3 December 2018, a matter of public importance or urgency motion not be proceeded with and, instead, general business notice of motion no. 1227 standing in my name, proposing a temporary order relating to formal motions, be called on and considered for not more than 1 hour;

(b) senators may speak to the motion for not more than 10 minutes; and

(c) if the question on the unresolved motion is not concluded before the expiration of time allotted in paragraph (a), the question shall be put.
