Before moving general business notice of motion No. 328, I wish to inform the Senate that Senator Sheldon will also sponsor the motion. I, and also on behalf of Senator Sheldon, move:
That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Industrial Relations, by no later than 12.45 pm on 5 December 2019, the government's response to the report of the Education and Employment References Committee, The people behind 000: mental health of our first responders, tabled on 14 February 2019.

The government is still considering and consulting with stakeholders on the report's recommendations. Therefore, the government is not in a position to table the response to the report at this time.
