Before we move on: as I have advised whips and leaders, we will recommence locking the doors upon the calling of divisions. The doors will be kept open during the sittings of the Senate but will be closed by attendants for the purposes of the count. Secondly, I would like to offer my particular thanks to the Usher of the Black Rod and his staff and to ACT Health for their assistance, and to my colleagues from Western Australia and their staff for their understanding and cooperation, over the weekend during a difficult circumstance.
