I move:

That the resolution of the Senate of 2 August 2022, which referred terms of reference for an inquiry to the Joint Standing Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Affairs and ordered that further consideration of Senator Thorpe's United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People Bill 2022 (general business order of the day no. 12) be deferred until the committee reports, be varied to remove the restriction on the further consideration of the bill.
